How garment remodelling works
A redesign consultation helps define what is possible before any work is approved. We review the garment, discuss the fit or style changes you want, and identify whether the existing fabric can support the concept.
For dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, and vintage pieces, the final direction depends on seam allowances, wear, and the structure of the original item. If additional materials are needed, they are quoted separately after the concept is reviewed.
Thoughtful redesign starts with the fabric already in your wardrobe.
At Tailor Crafted, every remodelling project begins with a close look at construction, condition, and the result you want to achieve.
Upcycling can give sentimental clothing a new purpose while keeping the strongest parts of the original piece. In some cases, the best result comes from a lighter redesign that respects the fabric rather than forcing a full transformation.
Before collection, the finished garment is checked again so any final adjustment can be handled carefully without changing the agreed design. This process supports a clean finish and a realistic result from start to finish.
